As you already know, at Maminat we love to offer you useful tips for natural remedies that you can prepare at home. This time, we bring you a really simple and very practical proposal. It's about using a plant like aloe vera, for the benefit of your skin, as it has multiple benefits, being ideal for applying to cuts, wounds, burns and scars, and it is also perfect for moisturizing and refreshing dry skin.
Aloe vera is a very easy plant to care for and have at home, as it hardly needs water and a little sun. In addition, it is a very resistant plant. As you can see in the video, all you have to do is cut a couple of leaves (that's what they're called), keeping in mind that it's ideal to cut the outermost ones, so as not to weaken the plant.
Next, we should soak the leaves for at least 24 hours so that they release aloin, a toxic substance that irritates the skin. Once this is done, we can proceed to slice the leaves.
Once we have opened them in half, as shown in the video, we will extract the gel from inside and put it in a container. This same gel can be applied directly to our skin. We can even freeze it and take it out of the freezer when we are going to use it. In fact, aloe vera is ideal to complement with any of our creams.
As you will see, a homemade remedy, with minimal cost, that offers us a useful and practical way to make our own natural cosmetics at home. At Maminat we love to share this type of advice on organic cosmetics.
