It is an organic acid generated during the process of lactic fermentation. In addition to being used in cosmetic products, this substance is present in the food industry and, more specifically, in the manufacture of dairy products, such as cheese.
BENEFICIOS
Due to its properties, it is often used to regulate the pH of certain cosmetic products. Lactic acid makes them gentler and more skin-friendly.
It is also capable of acting as an exfoliating agent. What it does is dissolve the bonds that hold old cells together on the skin's surface so that they can shed. This stimulates cell renewal and turnover. For this reason, this ingredient is often found in anti-wrinkle products.
