Farnesol is a naturally occurring organic compound found in many essential oils. Orange blossom, citronella, rose, musk, and cyclamen are just a few examples. Farnesol gets its name from the acacia farnesiana (Vachellia farnesiana).
BENEFICIOS
Generally, this ingredient is used in cosmetics to emphasize floral scents and mask others. However, it is also useful for softening wrinkles and firming the skin. Similarly, it can control the sebaceous production of the pores, which is especially beneficial for people with oily or dry skin.
Farnesol is commonly used in acne treatment products, deodorants, colognes, perfumes, and moisturizing lotions, among other cosmetic items.
