Linalool is a terpene, an organic compound found naturally in over 200 plant species, including mint, bay leaf, birch, cinnamon, and citrus.
BENEFICIOS
Its soft and floral scent is highly valued in the cosmetics industry, as it is a common ingredient in essential oils. It is also used in fragrances, lotions, shampoos, and soaps, among other products, to enhance their aroma.
Like other terpenoids, it has antiseptic and antifungal properties. It is highly effective in combating body odor and is included in facial cleansers.
Additionally, linalool is a widely used anxiolytic in aromatherapy to treat anxiety and stress.
