We've all had that lucid moment when we suddenly feel like buying a plant. And the reasons can vary: to decorate the house, create a calm and pleasant atmosphere, for companionship, or to start gardening, make your own infusions, etc. But after making the most wonderful purchase in the world, the moment of truth arrives: how long will the plant last? After all, they are living beings, so it's vital to "water the plant every day"; and this could apply to any aspect of life. What happens to the plant? Torn to pieces, dehydrated to the roots, and lifeless.

The truth is that the feeling that overcomes you is not pleasant at all, especially considering that plants are not limitless and we don't have a "planet B."

The same thing happens with our hair. We have summer, and then we add about 325 hours of sun, plus salt water, chlorine, plus 60 days of intense heat, a few up-dos here, other adventures there, caps, hats, and a long etcetera of summer days that fill you with life, but ruin your hair.

Of course, then what happens, happens. The days fly by, your hair gets a little lighter, and before you know it, it's September. Oh! I look in the mirror and wow... Another summer that my hair couldn't keep up with the pace of my summer, because to be honest, "it-was-amazing."

Suddenly, knives-sharp scissors start to buzz in your head and, after a solid moment of silence you realize: It's time to go to the hairdresser. And as it's a hairdressing law and a basic from First Grade of "5 years to let my hair grow a little long because I look cuter," you know that the hairdresser never - and you repeat quietly - never cuts "just the ends, please." Because they know that "just the ends" is what you would really like your hair to need, but you can't fool the hairdresser or your hair.

At Maminat, we have done everything in our power to save you this problem so that you can enjoy your summer days without having to worry. It's a mask made with 100% natural products for dry hair. You'll be especially surprised at how easy, and even better, how little time it takes to make.

What will you need?

  • One avocado.
  • A little vegetable milk (we used coconut milk).
  • A little honey.
  • 1 blender.
  • It's optional, but you can add a little natural essential oil. To your liking.

The ingredients in the mask moisturize and restore. Avocado is a fruit with excellent properties for all hair types in general, and you will see this because it nourishes in a spectacular way, leaving hair radiant due to the oil it releases. This, along with Argan oil, will leave your hair very hydrated. Milk and honey will help you achieve a uniform mixture with an ideal texture for applying the mask dry.

Finally, the procedure. For this, we have recorded a video where Natalia, our founder, explains how to make the mask step by step. At Maminat, you will also find more homemade natural cosmetic recipes. Here is the link for you to watch it.

We encourage you to try it at home and, of course, we eagerly await your comments telling us if it worked for you, if you already knew about it, or why not, if you have other homemade recipes that also benefit your hair in a homemade and natural way.

You can share it with as many people as you want and thus prevent the hairdresser from cutting the ends and... a little more when they return from summer.

Make your hair enjoy summer as much as you do, and above all, don't forget your plants!
