And I'm sure you're thinking... well, I know quite a few who get hives at the sight of a cream jar, they say buying cosmetics is a woman's thing and that they don't need to take care of themselves. Well, I'm going to tell you something, that's my father's discourse. A classic man, in his generation it wasn't common for men to take care of themselves, but now, fortunately, things have changed. If my father is reading this post, he'll smile and have to admit that what I'm about to tell you happens to him. Because yes... men's facial care is a thing of the present, and I find that some of you might belong to these groups. Everything I write, I do with affection, truly.
GROUP NUMBER 1. Men's facial care: yes, but I hide it
This is undoubtedly my father's group, Marce's. He's capable of saying things like "Daughter, I don't use creams..." and have his anti-wrinkle facial cream for oily skin and his eye contour hidden in a cupboard. He puts them on almost secretly and when he remembers. I remember the last market we did with Maminat where he came to visit me, and his face looked dehydrated, and I told him: "Daddy, you can't go around like this. Come here, I'm going to put some cream on you." The result? Red as a tomato from embarrassment and, afterwards, a radiant face. And I'm going to tell you the little secret he told me... "It's just that I ran out of your cream a few weeks ago." As I always say: The shoemaker's children go barefoot.
GROUP NUMBER 2. Wrinkles have started. I'll start with eye contour cream
I'm starting to see this more clearly with those over 40. They notice they have some "crow's feet" and then they go for eye contour cream. The market, as you know, offers some specific eye contour creams for men but... don't be fooled! All cosmetics can be unisex: men and women can use the same type of product because the big difference is that men have thicker skin than women, but, logically, a treatment that is good for wrinkles, bags, or dark circles works for both men and women.
Thus, men who belong to this group are those who begin their men's facial care with eye contour cream and, after a while, they include facial cream in their particular beauty routine. GROUP NUMBER 3. "That's a girl thing"
I've located them in the thirty-something age group. They take selfies, they care about their beards, they occasionally look in the mirror, but the excuse is "That's a girl thing." Let me tell you, you're wrong, and when you get a few years older, you'll become part of group 2 because you'll have wrinkles. From my point of view, these types of comments are a bit sexist, but I hear them daily. For example, one of our Maminat clients wanted to give each of his male friends a box with something for them and their respective partners. Afterward, I asked him, "Did they like your thoughtful gift?" and his response was: "Honestly, I don't know. They say that's a girl thing."

GROUP NUMBER 5: Men's facial care? Yeah, right...
We could group men over 60 into this category. They didn't have access to facial care when they were younger, and now doesn't seem like the most appropriate time for them. However, this group also includes some twenty-somethings who run away when they see a jar of cream because they think it will make their face sticky. But that's far from the truth! Now, if you're using a cream that seems like it came from a butter factory; that is, as sticky as can be... then surely that's what happens to you. But that's far from the case with Maminat!

BASIC FACIAL CARE FOR MEN
