We all have undiscovered talents and are capable of doing many more things than we imagine. What happens is that sometimes the course of life, our beliefs or our environment has made us think that we cannot do something, that we do not have certain virtues. Sometimes, we simply hid what made us enjoy and delight as children, and we have to rediscover these talents in adulthood.
This is something that Mil.una Sagunt achieves, a project that cares for women and their families. The women who come to this program are in a situation of social vulnerability: they have no economic resources or education, belong to ethnic minorities, or have gone through very complicated situations in life. They come to Mil.una Sagunt because they want a change in their lives, because assistants or social workers have recommended they come here...

Sometimes, they simply need to gain self-confidence; other times, they need to improve their social skills with others or learn to develop manual skills, consistency in work... For this reason, this Valencian project accompanies them emotionally, gives them classes, the women carry out research work on what motivates them, and learn to cultivate talents through various workshops, which are what you will see in the video.
María José and Yolanda are the two people in charge of making Mil.una Sagunt work perfectly, and the work they do with women is commendable. This project, already known in the Valencian town of Sagunto and its surroundings, has been running for almost 20 years. Today, it is a project of the secular institute of the Obreras de la Cruz.
Therefore, when I was looking for a Valencian organization that helped others to be able to donate part of Maminat's profits, I considered Mil.una Sagunt to be ideal: they have transparency (they quickly told me to visit them), they help those most in need, they exude good energy, and they achieve very positive results. More than a dozen women who have been through Mil.una have found work during 2017.
