Propiedades de la lavanda

Lavender is an aromatic plant that we all know well by its rich fragrance that it distributes.

We especially find it in Mediterranean climate countries like Spain. In fact, one of the best-known areas, and currently photographed on Instagram, is Brihuega, very close to Madrid, just over an hour's drive away, in the province of Guadalajara. In addition to the beauty of contemplating a field of lavender plants, the most important thing is the aromatic and medicinal properties that are derived from the lavender plant.

The scientific name of lavender, lavandulae, comes from the Latin verb lavare, as the lavender flower helps to wash both physical and emotional wounds. In fact, the ancient Romans already used it primarily for relaxing baths.

Currently, this plant has multiple uses, and today we are going to discover all its properties and why at Maminat we use it to make several of our products.
