You wake up on Monday after having caught up on sleep over the weekend. That makes you more rested, you're recharged, you go on social media, and boom! Suddenly, many messages remind you that "Monday is the worst day of the week," "I wish it were Sunday," or a drawing appears of someone injecting themselves with coffee first thing in the morning to endure what some say is the worst day of the week.

Well, according to scientists, no. Considering Monday the worst day of the week is a matter of the mind. In fact, researchers at the London School of Economics, after analyzing the mood swings and states of mind of 22,000 people, concluded that Mondays are by no means the worst day of the week.

We probably look at Monday with some apprehension because we find it hard to adapt to the change, to the rest we've had over the weekend. Put a good face on Monday! Treat yourself to some pampering when you get off work or when you're less busy, and that way you can always say it's been a great day.
